Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS)
Crossroads PROS – Personalized Recovery Oriented Services – is a treatment model used to deliver integrated rehabilitation services to adults who have difficulties due to a serious mental illness. The program offers rehabilitation in many areas of adult life, including managing mental illness and life skills. A vocational component helps individuals develop and enact plans for entry or return to the job market. The addition of a Vocational Services Specialist has provided an excellent transition for those individuals moving through treatment toward work goals. Clozaril Clinic services continue to run in conjunction with the PROS program. PROS provides a high standard of excellence, innovative use of psychiatric rehabilitation technology and development of unique programs. Clients who participate in the program gain inspiration, hope, self-confidence and skills to develop personal goals to maintain a functional, self-directed life.
The Crossroads Social Club continues to provide recreational and social outlets for PROS members. The club’s goal is to foster an atmosphere where every member can feel safe, useful and needed. Members are able to make new friends and share activities with old friends. Outings are planned by club members and include activities such as mall walking, dances, and trips to various local restaurants and events. The club serves to promote independence through peer support, community resources, friendship, and recreation.
